Author Guidelines
Formatting, structure, and submission requirements for manuscripts.
The Metiledted: International Multidisciplinary Journal in Language, Education, and Culture welcomes original, high-quality manuscripts that contribute to academic research and scholarly discussion. Authors are requested to carefully follow the guidelines below before submitting their work.
01 General Formatting Requirements
To ensure uniformity and readability, all manuscripts must follow the formatting standards below:
- Font type: Times New Roman
- Title and Author Details: 12 pt, bold (title may be centered)
- Main Text: 11 pt, regular
- Line spacing: 1.0 spacing throughout the manuscript
- Margins: 1 inch (2.54 cm) on all sides
- Page layout: A4 size, portrait orientation
- Alignment: Justified text alignment
02 Manuscript Structure
Authors should organize their manuscript in the following order:

Title
- Clear, concise, and reflective of the study
- No abbreviations unless necessary

Author Information
- Full names of all authors
- Institutional affiliation(s)
- Email address of the corresponding author

Abstract
- 150–250 words
- Briefly state purpose, methods, results, and conclusion
- No citations in the abstract

Keywords
- 3–6 keywords representing the core topics of the paper

- Introduction
- Methodology
- Results and Discussion

- Must follow a consistent citation style (APA style is recommended unless otherwise specified)
- All in-text citations must appear in the reference list
03 Language and Style
- Manuscripts must be written in clear and academic English
- Avoid grammatical errors and informal language
- Authors are encouraged to proofread their work before submission
04 Originality and Plagiarism Policy
All submitted manuscripts must be original and not under consideration elsewhere. The journal strictly prohibits plagiarism, including self-plagiarism and improper citation practices. Manuscripts may be screened using plagiarism detection tools.
05 Submission Requirements
Authors must ensure the following before submission:
- Manuscript is formatted according to journal guidelines
- All authors have approved the final version
- Ethical requirements (if applicable) have been met
- Conflicts of interest are disclosed, if any
06 Peer Review Process
All submissions undergo a double-blind peer review process. Authors will be informed of the review outcome, which may include acceptance, revision, or rejection.
07 Copyright and Publication Rights
Upon acceptance, authors grant the journal the right to publish their work. Authors retain intellectual ownership but agree to publication under the journal’s terms.
08 Ethical Compliance
Authors must adhere to ethical research standards, including proper citation, data integrity, and disclosure of conflicts of interest.
